SOLD Advance Memories - I painted this work not from memory but from anticipation. As I preparedto travel to India, this image reflects my excitement and curiosity, and my desire to find beauty there.

SOLD Zest for Life - Two lemons rest in a blue and white porcelain bowl, their yellow and green skins catching the light. A dark blue background deepens the shadows, while a striped linen cloth pools beneath the bowl in loose, brushwork.

SOLD Curious Mr MagPie - AKA Wonky Wing - Wonky Wing is an original acrylic painting from my Magpie Series, created on a 20 × 25 cm wide-edge canvas. This wild magpie is affectionately known as “Wonky Wing,” a regular and confident visitor to the garden of homeowner Pam Avery, whose reference image was used with permission. He was so popular I painted him a further two times as commissions (entitled “Two for Joy” and “Three for a Girl”

SOLD "Confident Fellow" is the first painting in my magpie series and introduces an assertive magpie with a quietly regal presence. He stands tall, head turned to the left, alert and self-possessed, as if fully aware of his own authority. His bold form is set against a gum-leaf green background that anchors him firmly in the Australian landscape.
